A little about me...
I am currently a speech-language therapist in Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools and Otsego Christian School; prior to this, I was a 4th grade teacher at Gaylord Community Schools. I earned my degrees and teaching certificate from Central Michigan University. I have two awesome daughters, DeLayni (age 11), and Nola-Jean (age 2), and my husband is a social studies teacher at Gaylord High School. We are fortunate to be able to enjoy summers together as a family! In my job, I enjoy collaborating with teachers and working in classrooms to guide and support students to correlate speech-language goals with state standards. I believe learning should still be FUN for kids, (no matter how many state tests they have to take) and I enjoy using books to work on speech-language goals and enhance learning. I hope you find my website helpful as you look around. Here's to a great school year!
